About You

You are responsible for assisting in the leasing and marketing of commercial real estate properties. You collaborate with experienced sales professionals or team and provides clerical support and superior service to clients and internal staff as needed.

In this role, you will...

  • Meet with clients and accompanies sales personnel to property sites. Assists in the showing of space and the negotiation process.
  • Conduct cold calls for developing new clients.
  • Gather and coordinate materials necessary for transactions, including listing/commission agreements, leases and sales agreements.
  • Draft various correspondence to existing and prospective clients. Preparesand sends marketing materials.
  • Compile packages of property data for clients that contain material specifically tailored to each client. Prepare tenant surveys, summary reports, maps and presentations for listing or tenant representative assignments. Provide client with status reports on their listings.
  • Update property and client database with updated information gathered through research.
  • Provide word-processing support, including generation of memos, correspondence, and spreadsheet reports. Edit correspondence for spelling, punctuation and grammar.
  • Provide general office support, including answering telephones, opening and distributing mail, ordering supplies, faxing, copying, and filing and file maintenance.
  • Schedule appointments, travel plans, meetings, etc.
  • Attend staff meetings, takes notes, distribute agendas and/or minutes as appropriate.
  • Prioritize projects and tasks according to the producer's requirements. Keep the team informed of decisions or issues that impact department.
  • Perform other duties as required.

What you'll bring

  • Real Estate License would be preferred and considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 2 years of business or office experience. Previous commercial real estate experience is preferred.
  • Computer literate and working experience with Excel, Word, email and internet.
  • Strong customer service skills, strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Encourages and supports leadership and growth in others.
  • Requires an excellent customer service approach to handle daily interactions.
