Job description

LOCATION: 494 Eighth Avenue

POSITION: Full time - In Person

FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt – Eligible for overtime

HOURS OF OPERATION: 9am to 6pm, with an unpaid-hour meal break


The Leasing Administrator supports leasing operations across a residential portfolio, handling lease processing, renewals, and tenant data management while ensuring compliance with NYC regulations. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to manage high-volume workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process leases, renewals, sublets, terminations, and related documentation (Yardi, On-Site, DocuSign)
  • Prepare and review lease documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Set up tenant billing, concessions, and ledger adjustments
  • Track lease expirations and managing the full renewal process, including drafting and processing renewal offers
  • Maintain organized digital and physical lease files
  • Update and manage tenant records across systems, ensuring data accuracy
  • Coordinate with Leasing, Property Management, and Revenue teams
  • Respond to tenant and broker inquiries and provide administrative support, including scheduling tours and handling calls
  • Assist with reporting, mailings, and special projects

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of NYC real estate, leasing administration, or property management experience
  • Knowledge of NYC rent regulations and Fair Housing laws
  • Proficiency in Yardi and On-Site required
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage high-volume work
  • Strong communication skills and a process-driven mindset
  • NY Real Estate License preferred
