Leasing Administrative Assistant
Location: Lakewood, OH Schedule: Monday-Friday - 100% onsite. Pay rate: $19/hr
We are seeking a professional, customer-focused Leasing Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of a busy residential apartment community in the Akron area. This role combines administrative responsibilities with resident support and leasing assistance, making it a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people while staying organized in a fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Track phone, email, and office traffic to support leasing and occupancy efforts.
  • Process rental applications, including credit checks and income verification while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Complete leasing paperwork and accurately enter data into company systems.
  • Assist with lease execution and collection of initial deposits and rent payments.
  • Coordinate and support a smooth move-in experience for new residents.
  • Maintain organized and accurate resident files.
  • Respond to resident inquiries and service requests, creating work orders as needed.
  • Answer incoming calls, greet visitors, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Support collections activities, administrative projects, and other office duties as assigned.
  • Assist the Property Manager and leasing team with day-to-day operations.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience in a busy office environment.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Previous leasing, property management, or apartment industry experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to learn new software systems quickly.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Dependable with a strong commitment to attendance and punctuality.
