We support the delivery of courses that support corporate compliance and the health and safety of employees and the environment. We also deliver robust programs that build skills in leadership development, interpersonal communication, project management, and client management.

Responsibilities
Learning Management System (LMS) Administration
  • Manage LMS structure, settings, fields, and user roles
  • Upload, publish, and test content in the LMS
  • Manage corporate compliance-related course enrollments and system access
  • Take ownership for the resolution of LMS technical issues
  • Interface with SharePoint Admin, System Admins, and other IT staff for troubleshooting and system support
  • Manage relationship and collaborate with Zensai/Learn365 (LMS vendor)
  • Lead LMS integration efforts with other Dewberry systems (i.e., HAMS, Dayforce, CRM)
  • Work with IT Data Team to feed LMS data to PowerBI dashboards
  • Guide LMS content owners/admins on best practices
  • Build relationships with content owners and other stakeholders
  • Streamline and document processes and develop reference guides/job aids
  • Field employee inquiries and connect employees and their managers to available training resources, manage shared team email inbox
  • Monitor trends in training activity and interpret LMS reports and dashboards to identify system or learning experience improvements.

Elearning Development
  • Develop and maintain simple eLearning modules using Articulate 360 and LMS authoring tools, packaging content in SCORM/AICC formats as needed and configuring courses within the LMS; customize our off-the-shelf elearning content
  • Support minor updates, fixes, and reformatting of existing learner content
  • Provide guidance to content owners corporate-wide who want to develop elearning courses

Management of corporate subscriptions on external learning platforms:
  • Manage vendor relationships for continuing education and professional development platforms offered to employees. This includes negotiating and processing contracts and managing payments.
  • Provide employee support for third-party platforms
  • Be proactive in staying current on platform course catalogs; identify resources that meet company needs and reduce overlap where possible

Virtual Training Support
  • Serve as technical producer for Training and Development team-led live virtual training sessions on Microsoft Teams
  • Manage internal stakeholders, facilitator communications, preparation and distribution of course materials, and participant registration

Support For Employee Licensure and Other Credentials
  • Learn requirements for the major licenses held by our employees (Professional Engineers, Registered Architects, Surveyors, etc.)
  • Manage relationship with licensing boards where we are approved sponsors
  • Provide guidance to employees hosting Dewberry-sponsored education programs
  • Research additional third-party resources on an ongoing basis

Required Skills & Required Experience
The ideal candidate has the following qualities:
  • Bachelor's degree in education, human resources, organizational development, communications, psychology, business, or related field
  • Additional degree in learning technology desired
  • 6+ years of experience in a corporate learning and development environment preferred, with minimum of 2 years responsibility managing an LMS required
  • Proficient with elearning authoring tools, ideally Articulate 360 or similar
  • Advanced user of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Teams
  • Willingness to tackle a wide variety of projects
  • Takes ownership for work with exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload as needed to meet schedules
  • Works with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to see the big picture but also be detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Curiosity and willingness to ask probing questions to uncover underlying issues
  • Provides exceptional service to employees by being responsive, resourceful, and respectful
  • Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of employees and training partners in a clear, precise, and thorough manner.

Salary Range
The projected range for this position is $78,000-$100,000 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
