Job Description

The Corporate Real Estate Project Manager II is responsible for overall coordination, status reporting and stability of project-oriented work efforts and establishing and implementing project management processes and methodologies for the IT community to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations. This position is also responsible for working with the Corporate Real Estate team as well as many Lines of Business and internal IT partners.

How You'll Spend Your Time

You will review project proposals and construction documents to define timelines, budget limits, technical scope, and objectives.
You will work with Engineers to develop scopes, data closet designs, and data drop plans.
You will build project plans by outlining procedures, assigning staff, and coordinating each phase of work.
You will manage budgets and track expenses while accounting for dependencies and critical path activities.
You will partner with stakeholders, Corporate Real Estate, and internal teams to align expectations and clarify requirements.
You will monitor progress through status reports and adjust plans as needed.
You will lead project execution by guiding teams, solving problems, and discussing options to meet business needs.
Some travel maybe required

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field of study with an IT focus and 7-10 years of directly related experience in Information Technology project management or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Prior experience in financial services industry is preferred.  Preference: PMP (Project Management Professional).


In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques
In-depth knowledge of plan development and execution, scope planning, schedule development, cost estimating, budgeting, and control, quality planning assurance, organizational planning, communications planning, risk identification and risk response control
Basic knowledge of network components, desktop computers, VOIP phones 
General understanding of construction is helpful
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Technical proficiency in hardware and systems software
Strong customer focus and ability to manage client expectations
Ability to develop and deliver projects using leading-edge technology
Ability to present and explain technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills at all management levels
Ability to multi-task , work well on sometimes rapid changing projects and compact timelines.
