Job Number: R0239760 Mission Defense SME The Opportunity: Ensure operational warfighting needs for long-range precision fires are fully represented by providing subject matter expertise in employment concepts, capability development, and system-of-systems integration, supported by deep expertise in Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition processes. Lead the integration of long-range fires into multi-domain chain constructs, operational plans, and future force design, while synchronizing delivery of long-range strike capabilities across platforms, sensors, command and control (C2), and targeting processes in coordination with mission partners. Proven experience across the full acquisition lifecycle-from requirements development through contract award and execution-while shaping, qualifying, and capturing new business opportunities within DoD and federal agencies. Serve as a program office subject matter expert for weapons integration across Combat Air Forces platforms, delivering technical and operational analysis, while reviewing and aligning weapons integration roadmaps, sustainment challenges, and mission planning system development. Conduct system-of-systems assessments to evaluate long-range strike employment concepts, supporting modeling, simulation, and operational analysis events to assess performance in future combat scenarios. Provide senior leader recommendations on investment priorities, risk mitigation, and capability development to enhance long-range strike effectiveness. Leverage operational and technical experience across the full chain, including find, fix, track, target, engage, and assess, including integration of architectures aligned with joint concepts. * Experience aligning aviation capabilities with advanced weapons systems, electronic warfare, or integrated mission systems
* Experience in USAF operational planning, targeting, or weapon s employment
* Knowledge of tactical datalinks including Link 16 and Common Data Link (CDL)
* Knowledge of standoff munitions employment, integration, or program management
* Ability to translate operational needs into formal requirements and coordinate across multiple organizations
* Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
* TS/SCI clearance

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).
