Job description

Job Title: Training CoordinatorJob Description
The Training Coordinator designs, develops, and maintains interactive training solutions that align with industry-standard instructional design practices. This role builds online curricula and training courses for the learning management system, creates multimedia learning content, and continuously evaluates and enhances training programs to support organizational Learning & Development objectives.
Responsibilities
  • Create and update interactive training solutions that adhere to established industry design standards and best practices.
  • Leverage design platforms to build engaging online curricula and training courses for the learning management system.
  • Develop training content using a variety of multimedia formats, including audio, video, and digital assets.
  • Produce clear and visually effective graphics, write scripts, and create detailed storyboards to support training course development.
  • Determine the appropriate format and modality for training courses, such as e-learning, video-based training, or blended learning solutions.
  • Convert existing training materials into digital media, ensuring content is accurate, up to date, and user-friendly.
  • Create written communications, job aids, trainee materials, and instructor guides as needed to support learning initiatives.
  • Evaluate training courses and programs to identify opportunities for improvement in content, delivery, and learner engagement.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of Learning & Development programs, using data and feedback to recommend and implement changes to current processes.
  • Assist in the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of Learning & Development processes and initiatives as assigned.
  • Ensure all training materials and processes align with relevant policies, procedures, and education delivery options.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand learning needs and translate them into effective training solutions.
Essential Skills
  • At least five (5) years of experience in education, training, or instructional design.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in instructional design and instructional training.
  • Strong technical writing and technical design skills for creating clear and structured learning content.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Suite, including Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Captivate.
  • Experience creating multimedia content, including audio, video, and digital learning assets.
  • Ability to navigate and work within learning management systems.
  • Knowledge of project management techniques and processes related to training and content development.
  • Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, and education delivery options.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and support learners effectively.
  • Proficiency in O365 (Microsoft Office 365) for documentation, communication, and collaboration.
  • Experience using Articulate or similar e-learning authoring tools.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
