Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator opportunity in Johnson City, TN.
Job Description:
The Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance, optimization, and support of the organization's Learning Management System. This role ensures the LMS operates efficiently, supports learner engagement, maintains accurate training records, and provides reporting and analytics to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), including user accounts, permissions, learning assignments, and system configurations.
  • Manage training content by uploading, testing, updating, and organizing courses, learning paths, and certifications.
  • Provide technical support and training to learners, instructors, and administrators, resolving LMS-related issues and inquiries.
  • Generate and analyze reports on training completion, compliance, certifications, and learner activity to support business and regulatory requirements.
  • Support system integrations, data management, user provisioning, and data integrity across connected platforms.
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development, HR, IT, and business stakeholders to optimize LMS functionality and user experience.
  • Maintain system documentation, ensure compliance with data security standards, and support audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Technology, Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience generating reports and analyzing learning data.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Experience:
  • 2-5+ years of LMS administration experience.
  • Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
  • Experience with reporting tools, dashboards, and data visualization platforms.
