Job Title: Human Resources Generalist (HRG) - Learning & Workforce Development


Location: Naples, Florida


Job Type: Full-Time & Salaried/Exempt

~ Monday-Thursday, 8AM-5PM

~ Friday, 8AM-3PM

~ On-Site Role w/ Potential For 1 Remote Workday After Training Period

Job Summary: As DLC grows, this HRG role plays a critical role in supporting DLC's workforce sustainability through the coordination, execution, and compliance oversight of training and workforce development programs. Primary focus areas include New Employee Orientation (NEO), annual training requirements, workforce development initiatives, and workforce pipeline programs.

This role serves as an operational and compliance anchor for onboarding, ongoing learning and development activities, internships, Medical Resident programs, volunteers, job fairs, collegiate affiliations, and grant-funded workforce initiatives. The HRG ensures all workforce training and development activities are well-coordinated, compliant, accurately documented, and audit-ready, supporting long-term workforce development aligned with DLC's mission and vision.


Key Responsibilities:


New Employee Training, Learning & Development


- Owns the facilitation, coordination, tracking, and compliance execution of New Employee Orientation (NEO) and the annual training lifecycle for employees, interns, residents, and volunteers.

- Ensures required annual training is completed, documented, and audit-ready, including Relias LMS training, Credible EHR training, CPR, QPR, safety compliance, and role-specific education.

- Monitors training compliance through HRIS and LMS platforms (e.g., Relias, e3 Datis), proactively identifying and escalating compliance gaps or risks.

- Partners with HR leadership, clinical leaders, and external partners to support onboarding, refresher training, leadership development, and workforce development initiatives.


Workforce Development & Pipeline Programs


- Supports DLC's workforce pipeline strategy, including internships, resident programs, student placements, volunteer engagement, job fairs, and collegiate affiliations.

- Coordinates onboarding, training enrollment, compliance documentation, system tracking, and participation reporting for workforce pipeline participants.

- Supports grant-funded workforce initiatives by maintaining accurate training records, documentation, and reporting timelines.


Systems, Reporting & Audit Readiness


- Maintains accuracy and documentation integrity within HRIS and LMS platforms related to onboarding, training, and workforce development.

- Produces routine and ad hoc reports on training completion, compliance status, and workforce program participation.

- Supports audit readiness by supplying workforce documentation for regulatory reviews, accreditation, payer audits, billing validation, and grant reporting.


Collaboration & Cross-Coverage


- Collaborates with HR Team and DLC stakeholders to operationalize training programs.

- Provides cross-coverage during high-volume onboarding or training periods.

- Participates in HR projects, audits, and workforce strategy initiatives.

- Serves as an essential employee during emergency events or public health situations as required.

- Other duties/projects as assigned by HR Director to meet Team, Client or Business needs.


Qualifications:


- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field = Required

~ High School Diploma plus 2-4 years of related experience will be considered


- 1-3 years in HR coordination or support, with a focus on onboarding = Strongly Preferred


- Current/Clear FL Driver's License with ability to travel locally in Collier County for Career Events = Required


- Skill sets in the following = Required

~ Onboarding support, training and workforce development initiatives

~ Understanding the relationship between training delivery, compliance and Client Care outcomes


- Workplace experience in Healthcare or Behavioral Healthcare settings = Strongly Preferred


- Proficiency in Applicant Tracking & HRIS Systems = Strongly Preferred


- Able to juggle multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment = Required


- Strong communicator, highly organized, and a team player with exceptional interpersonal skills = Required


- Comfortable handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism = Required


- Microsoft Office 365 skills (Including Teams/Copilot) = Required


- Staying compliant on all trainings and immunizations = Required


- Ability to pass Level II DCF Mental Health Fingerprinting (General Information can be found HERE), Drug Screen and Local Criminal Check = Required


Physical Requirements: This position requires a mix of physical activities throughout the workday. Duties involve periods of standing, sitting, and walking, often across various areas of the site. The role also includes tasks that may require bending, reaching, and other physical movements. Candidates must be able to occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. A reasonable level of physical stamina and mobility is necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.
