Position Summaryย 

Serve as a strategic leader in employee training and development and is directly responsible for designing, implementing, facilitating, and evaluating learning programs that align with credit union goals. This position plays an active role in facilitating training for employees across the organization, assessing development needs, creating effective learning solutions, and fostering a culture of continuous learning. The role partners closely with leadership to strengthen employee performance, support career development, and contribute to long-term organizational success through robust and engaging training initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and evaluate advanced training programs to support organizational goals and employee development.
  • Facilitate instructor-led, virtual, and hands-on training sessions for employees across departments.ย 
  • Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and align learning initiatives with business objectives.
  • Develop and deliver specialized learning programs, including leadership development, technical skills training, and compliance education.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of training programs using metrics, feedback, and performance data to refine strategies.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to create career development frameworks and succession planning initiatives.
  • Stay informed on trends and advancements in learning technologies and methodologies to incorporate innovative solutions.
  • Manage training budgets and resources effectively to maximize impact and return on investment.
  • Ensure training programs comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to employees and leaders to enhance learning outcomes.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, education, business, or a related field; or equivalent experience.ย 
  • 4+ years of experience in training, learning and development, or related fields.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating leadership development, technical training, and professional development programs.
  • Ability to conduct needs assessments and develop tailored learning solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) and training technologies.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with experience presenting to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to analyze data and metrics to improve learning strategies and measure ROI.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills, with the ability to clearly translate expectations and organizational skills to employees.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience collaborating with senior leadership to align training initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Commitment to fostering a culture of growth, innovation, and continuous learning.

This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional evening or weekend hours may be required based on business needs. Frequent travel between Trax locations is also required.
