Position Summary:

The Learning and Organizational Development Specialist is an integral member of the Learning and Organizational Development (L&OD) team, contributing to initiatives that enhance leadership effectiveness and drive organizational success. This role focuses on executing and supporting organizational development and learning strategies, including talent optimization, career development, and leadership capability building. Additionally, they facilitate programs, retreats, workshops and provide coaching to equip leaders to navigate change and achieve strategic objectives.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Designs and delivers professional, engaging learning experiences grounded in adult learning methodology and industry best practices
  • Creates assessments, exercises, and activities that reinforce learning and improve knowledge retention
  • Administers and maintains the Learning Management System (LMS), including course setup, enrollment, content updates, reporting, and troubleshooting to ensure a smooth learning experience for all users
  • Supports the administration and coordination of talent programs, including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, assessments, employee surveys, and high-potential development programs
  • Partners with the Communications team in promoting L&OD priorities, programs, and offerings, ensuring consistent messaging and strong employee awareness and engagement
  • Partners with leaders and stakeholders to support change readiness, communication planning, and adoption of organizational initiatives
  • Analyzes program data and participant feedback to identify trends and drive continuous improvement of learning and OD offerings
  • Advances the employee experience, culture, and belonging strategy by providing direction and oversight for Diversity & Inclusion initiatives, ensuring programs align with employee needs
  • Supports change initiatives and other special projects as needed
  • Other duties assigned relative to advancing L&OD priorities and the broader People & Culture strategy

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 2 years of work experience in a related field required
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation and influencing skills
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Inspires trust and relates well to people of varying roles and levels
  • Confident, resilient and takes initiative
  • Strong planning and organizational skills and habits
  • Demonstration of solid communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to be highly flexible in a fast-paced, dynamic and often ambiguous environment
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills
  • Workday Learning experience preferred
