This role partners with cross-functional stakeholders to identify learning needs, develop scalable solutions, and evaluate effectiveness to support business outcomes.What you'll do...

The role involves auditing, leveraging, and adapting learning collateral from various teams. This may include collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure learning solutions address business needs, align with corporate best practices, and effectively drive performance.
Applying instructional design expertise and best practices into blended learning solutions is essential. The role may also manage ad hoc requests, focusing on user experience and the measurable effectiveness of training. Developing learning that meets proposed outcomes and delivers on learning metrics is a key responsibility.
The role applies various levels of evaluation to measure the effectiveness of blended learning solutions and provides reports and recommendations for continuous improvement of learning initiatives. Additionally, liaising with external learning vendors and managing projects of externally-developed learning solutions may be required.
Maintaining existing documentation and content, ensuring it is up to date and technically validated, is part of the role. Staying abreast of industry trends and developments, and making recommendations to streamline, modernize, and evolve the learning function, are also important aspects.

Minimum (Required) Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Adult Learning, HR, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years experience in instructional design, e-learning development, or learning experience design
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, Kirkpatrick)
  • Proven experience designing and developing blended learning solutions (e.g., eLearning, instructor-led, video, job aids)
  • Proficiency with Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise)
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere) for multimedia content development
  • Experience with video production, animation, or storytelling tools (e.g., Vyond, Adobe Premiere, After Effects)
  • Strong ability to conduct needs analysis and translate business requirements into learning solutions
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with SMEs and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Knowledge of graphic design principles
  • Ability to align content with brand standards and learner experience design principles
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms and accessibility standards (WCAG/AODA)
  • Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills
  • Experience with AI tools in learning design (content generation, personalization, rapid prototyping)
  • Exposure to learning analytics, evaluation, and reporting on training effectiveness
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Workday)
