What You'll Do
As the Training and Development Specialist, you'll help shape the employee experience by supporting learning and development initiatives across the organization.Â
Learning & Development
- Design, coordinate, and deliver engaging training programs that support employee growth and organizational successÂ
- Develop training materials, facilitator guides, presentations, and learning resourcesÂ
- Assist with onboarding and new employee development programsÂ
- Facilitate instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning experiencesÂ
Leadership & Performance Support
- Partner with department leaders to identify skill gaps and development opportunitiesÂ
- Support "Train-the-Trainer" initiatives that build internal leadership capabilityÂ
- Help develop programs that strengthen customer service, leadership, safety, and operational effectivenessÂ
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional developmentÂ
Training Operations & Analytics
- Track employee participation, completion rates, and learning outcomesÂ
- Maintain training records and reporting databasesÂ
- Measure training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metricsÂ
- Assist in identifying key indicators that demonstrate training successÂ
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Research and implement innovative learning technologies and training methodsÂ
- Stay current on industry trends, training platforms, and best practicesÂ
- Support learning systems and tools such as Grace Hill, RealPage, Opiniion, ZUMA, and other organizational platformsÂ
- Travel locally to communities to provide in-person training and coaching supportÂ
Requirements
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Education, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceÂ
- Minimum of three (3) years of multifamily industry experienceÂ
- Valid state driver's licenseÂ
- Ability to speak, write, and read fluently in English and SpanishÂ
Preferred Experience
- Designing and delivering employee training programsÂ
- Developing instructional materials and learning contentÂ
- Facilitating classroom, virtual, and hands-on training sessionsÂ
- Supporting leadership development and onboarding programsÂ
Technical Skills
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Â
- Learning management systems and training platformsÂ
- Property management software such as RealPage or similar systemsÂ
- Virtual learning and presentation technologiesÂ
