This is a hybrid position based out of Tampa, Florida. Successful candidates must possess experience in Real Estate Law.

The Education Attorney is responsible for the development and delivery of educational programs related to Florida real estate law and title insurance practices. This role serves as a subject matter expert who creates and presents continuing education (CE) opportunities for agents, employees, and customers. The position focuses on enhancing professional knowledge by designing impactful training programs, maintaining current industry expertise, and supporting educational initiatives. The Education Attorney collaborates with leadership and field personnel to develop relevant, high-quality learning experiences through live seminars and online platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Education, Training & Program Development

  • Coordinate, develop, and deliver continuing education (CE) seminars for title agents, customers, and company employees throughout Florida.

  • Design, implement, and maintain online training programs, including Florida Learning Center courses and CE credit offerings.

  • Collaborate with state, regional, and field leadership to identify training needs and develop educational content for both live and virtual delivery.

  • Create, update, and maintain course materials that address current real estate and title insurance topics.

  • Secure speakers, coordinate logistics, and facilitate the successful execution of seminars and training sessions.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Florida and national real estate and title insurance industry developments.

Legal Education & Advisory Support

  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource on Florida real estate law by providing educational insight and clarification to agents and company personnel.

  • Respond to inquiries regarding legal and regulatory topics to promote understanding and compliance.

  • Review legal documents for educational and training purposes, including deeds, mortgages, lien waivers, surveys, court orders, and related instruments.

Compliance & Industry Awareness

  • Monitor state and federal legal and regulatory changes impacting real estate and title insurance.

  • Integrate relevant legal updates into training materials and educational programs.

  • Support internal education related to compliance standards and best practices.

Business Development & Industry Engagement

  • Support company growth by enhancing education and training offerings that add value to agents and customers.

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade associations, and bar programs through educational presentations.

  • Deliver instruction on legal, regulatory, and industry topics at conferences and seminars.

  • Participate in company initiatives, focus groups, and task forces to develop and improve educational strategies and content.

Additional Duties

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management to support education, training, and organizational development efforts.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) and active license to practice law (Florida preferred).

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate law and/or title insurance.

  • Strong knowledge of Florida real estate law and related regulatory frameworks

  • Customer service mindset with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders

  • Strong understanding of the title industry, social media platforms, digital marketing, and content creation best practices.

  • Excellent presentation, public speaking, and instructional design skills.

  • Ability to simplify complex concepts and deliver them in an engaging, accessible way.

  • Familiarity with webinar platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams, GoToWebinar), Microsoft Office, and scheduling tools

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and curriculum development

  • Comfortable with technology platforms and training users at varying skill levels.

Schedule & Availability

  • Standard working hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.

  • Flexibility to respond to inquiries outside of normal business hours as needed.
