POSITION SUMMARY: 

This role is responsible for consulting with Penske's Finance department for the implementation and facilitation of plans, projects and programs addressing the finance organizational learning and talent development needs. We provide opportunities to impact associates at every stage of an associate's career and develop them professionally. This role balances operational execution with contribution to the strategic direction of the business and L&D activities across finance.

In this role, you will have an opportunity to work with a passionate, progressive, and high-impact team that is making a difference in the organization and ensuring our customers success. You will form strong internal partnerships with all levels of leadership as you look to understand their business, priorities, and challenges. On a daily basis, you will cultivate fresh perspectives in learning and development and see meaningful results! 

Qualified candidates for this role will have at least 3 years of prior adult learning and development experience, as well as facilitation experience. This position is based in our global offices in Berks County, PA, which is 75 miles northwest of Philadelphia, PA. 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Facilitation
    • Facilitate interactive instructor led training sessions to implement learning and development solutions for finance teams (in-person and virtually)
  • Program Management
    • Operate and maintain learning technologies and systems used in the delivery of instructional and/or interactive programs or courses. Track completion data and key learning metrics; in addition to leveraging other systems and technologies needed for reporting purposes.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Consult with key stakeholders within finance to define business requirements and areas of greatest potential impact to translate into future L&D solutions. When L&D solutions are not warranted, provide consultation and act as a key advisor.
  • Project Work
    • Seek, design and implement solutions with subject matter experts to promote role clarity and alignment sustainable through Penske finance organization. Validate and prioritize emerging skills and knowledge needs on an ongoing basis.
    • Manage and create instructionally sound curriculum through instructional design knowledge and expertise.
    • Collaborate with the finance learning and development team on strategic initiatives and projects.
    • Other projects and tasks as directed by manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred. If no degree, equivalent work experience is required
  • 3+ years of related work experience
  • 3+ years of adult learning and development experience preferred
  • 1 year of virtual and in-person facilitation and presentation skills highly preferred
  • Financial acumen preferred, with awareness of business and operational impacts 
  • Demonstrates proficiency in learning management systems 
  • Knowledgeable in Articulate 360, including Storyline 360 and Rise 360
  • Demonstrates past proficiency of: Facilitation skills (Virtual and in-person), instructional design, performance consulting skills, and program management
  • Strong executive presence, advanced verbal and written communication skills, and positive influencing skills are necessary for successful performance in this role
  • Highly creative and innovative, self-driven with relentless attention to detail
  • Ability to partner with operational groups and other talent development team members to ensure successful design and implementation of identified training programs
  • Some technical skills and systems knowledge of relevant learning tools (authoring applications, webinar platforms, learning management systems, etc.)
  • Some overnight travel up to 10-15% may be required. Occasional day travel near corporate office location
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
  • Role will be based in Reading PA
  • Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
