Job Title: Training & Development Manager

Department: Human Resources

Reports To: Sr Manager Talent and Org Development

JOB SUMMARY: The Training & Development Manager will collaborate with leaders and various stakeholders to develop and implement talent strategies, programs, and processes that enhance our organization's culture, efficiency, employee engagement, and talent development to help bridge the gap between current and future state in these key areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Program Design and Strategy
  • Develops the overall learning and development strategy aligned with organizational goals andobjectives.
  • Identifiestraining needs through assessments, performance reviews, and collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Curriculum Development
  • Creates and sources effective, engaging learning materialsincluding instructor-led training, virtual, andoff-siteresources.
  • Training Delivery and Facilitation
  • Serves as a subject matter expert for leadership development, skills training, and other relevant topics.
  • Conducts and coordinates training workshops, both in-person and virtually.
  • Evaluates learning programs and effectiveness through data and feedback.
  • MaintainstheLearning Management System to ensuretrackingand reviewof trainingrecordsisavailable for stakeholders.
  • Organizational Development
  • Leads Team Member engagement initiatives including surveys and feedback mechanisms.
  • Partners withthe Human Resources team andleaders to develop internaltools and resourcessuch ascareer pathways,roadmaps,mentoring programs,internshipsand leadershiptraineeprograms.
  • Coordinates career planning and succession planning activities for the organization.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or a relatedfieldOR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in a role focused on talent management, training, or organizational development.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingualin English and Spanish preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to speak English, read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Understanding personal computer applications and tools.

FOOD SAFETY:

Take a proactive role in assuring safe, quality products are produced by immediately addressing any safety or quality concerns.
