Role Overview

The Turbine Assembly Program Manager serves as a liaison between internal teams and external customers, overseeing the full lifecycle of gas turbine manufacturing and service projects-from quotation through execution and closeout. This role is part of the Business Planning Team, which manages scheduling, order management, and strategic planning to align demand and supply. The Program Manager will manage customer communications, coordinate production teams to meet delivery and performance goals, standardize planning processes, support cost and lead-time reduction initiatives and lead the voice of the customer program, facilitate customer visits, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates our core competencies: Action oriented, change champion, customer-focused, developing self & others, and ownership
  • Manage the full lifecycle of gas turbine manufacturing and service projects-from quotation through execution and closeout-ensuring alignment with customer expectations and internal performance goals.
  • Serve as the primary interface between customers and production teams, coordinating schedules, communications, and execution plans.
  • Support manufacturing teams with project management and ensure consistent communication throughout all phases.
  • Standardize business planning processes across product lines and oversee the quotation process, including tracking improvement metrics.
  • Lead cost and lead-time reduction initiatives by analyzing lost bids and customer feedback.
  • Manage the voice of the customer program and coordinate customer visits for new and service manufacturing.
  • Provide leadership to business planning staff, contractors, and third-party suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and systems to support project execution and reporting.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent 6 years in a related field or equivalent combination of education and skills. PMP certification preferred.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical documents, write reports and procedures, and present information effectively to various audiences.
  • Proficient in basic algebra, geometry, and calculations involving percentages, proportions, and volume.
  • Capable of interpreting instructions and resolving complex issues with limited standardization.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and common business software including project management, spreadsheets, databases, and word processing tools.
