Primary Function(s):
Training Design & Development
Conduct comprehensive training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and performance improvement opportunities.
Design and develop customized learning solutions, including eLearning modules using Articulate (Storyline and/or Rise), instructor-led training, blended learning programs, job aids, workshops, booklets, presentations, flyers, and multimedia materials.
Demonstrate proficiency and comfort developing interactive, scenario-based, and compliance-focused eLearning experiences using Articulate or other instructional and video technologies, such as Captivate, CreateStudio, Synthesia, Vyond, Camtasia, Canva, and Capcut.
Assist in the identification and creation of new training programs based on needs assessments. Developing teaching aids such as handbooks, visual aids, tutorials, demonstration models, and reference materials.
Update and enhance existing course content, agendas, manuals, and materials to ensure accuracy, relevance, and engagement.
Develop and facilitate train-the-trainer programs for the Learning & Development team and organizational trainers.
Facilitate professional development training sessions to strengthen leadership and workforce capability, such as effective workplace communication and writing, professionalism, DiSC Workplace, DiSC WorkSmart, and DiSC Management.
Develop and lead extensive workshops on the UKG Learning Management System (LMS), manager functions in UKG, the time and attendance system, reporting functions, completing expense reports in Concur, Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Outlook, and additional programs as needed by the organization.
Perform professional voiceover work and live training recordings to support asynchronous and on-demand learning initiatives.
Edit training videos and produce high-quality multimedia learning content.
Training Delivery & Facilitation
Deliver engaging, effective training sessions in-person and virtually via Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
Conduct professional development workshops and other training workshops across all employee levels, including management development workshops.
Host online office hours to provide follow-up support and reinforce learning application for the whole organization.
Travel to various subsidiaries as needed to instruct or support training initiatives.
Learning Technology & LMS Administration
Manage and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), including course creation, uploading Articulate-published content (SCORM/xAPI), attendance tracking, roster management, and timely reporting.
Manage and facilitate reporting from both the UKG LMS and Relias, ensuring accurate compliance tracking, completion monitoring, and executive-ready reporting.
Extract, analyze, and distribute training data to measure impact, identify trends, and support operational decision-making.
Provide organization-wide technical support related to the LMS learning technologies, basic technical troubleshooting, and the time and attendance system.
Manage the L&D HelpDesk, including answering and resolving tickets efficiently, coding and modifying pages as needed, reprogramming configurable fields, and monitoring functionality.
Ensure scheduling and delivery of mandatory training courses.
Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
Measure training effectiveness through structured learning evaluation methods and performance metrics.
Provide data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, instructional design strategies, and best practices in Learning & Development and eLearning development.
Maintain deep knowledge of organizational programs, services, and employee skill requirements to proactively support performance improvement.
Collaboration & Organizational Support
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure training initiatives align with organizational goals and objectives.
Communicate effectively with leadership, trainers, site management, and team members to ensure learning needs are met.
Assist the Learning & Development Director in completing strategic priorities and ensuring compliance with departmental and subsidiary standards.
Assume additional duties as needed to support teamwork and departmental effectiveness. Exemplify and uphold the core values of Chimes by integrating them into all training design, facilitation, and collaboration with others across the organization.
