Foxconn Industrial Internet is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable HR Associate Intern to join our Human Resources team in Houston, TX for the Fall 2026 Internship Program. This is a part-time, 20-hour-per-week role running for 13 weeks. (August 31 – November 27, 2026).

In this role, the intern will focus on two primary workstreams: (1) consolidating and standardizing the company's job description database into a single, unified master file; and (2) auditing I-9 employment eligibility records to ensure compliance with federal requirements. In addition, the intern will provide support to the Learning & Development function, including managing training records and researching learning resources for the company's internal training platform.

  • Edit and reformat individual JDs as needed to align with the approved template, branding, and required sections (e.g., duties, qualifications, physical requirements).

  • Support the audit of I-9 employment eligibility files by reviewing records for completeness and flagging any missing or expiring documentation for HR review.

  • Assist with consolidating training data from multiple sources to help ensure records are accurate, consistent, and ready for reporting and analysis.

  • Conduct research on Learning & Development (L&D) resources and tools to support the evaluation and buildout of the company's internal training platform.

  • Provide general HR administrative support as needed, including document filing, data entry, and assistance with onboarding-related tasks.

  • Handle all employee records and personnel information with professionalism and strict confidentiality.

REQUIRED SKILLS & TECHNICAL PROFICIENCIES

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for document formatting, data entry, and file organization.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when reviewing compliance-related documentation.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage and structure large volumes of documents and files.

  • Strong written communication skills for editing and standardizing job description content.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive employee records.

  • Basic understanding of HR recordkeeping practices and compliance requirements is a plus; training will be provided.

  • Comfortable working independently on structured projects while checking in regularly with a mentor.

QUALIFICATIONS
