Wanco Inc. is seeking a Video Training & Learning Content Specialist in our Arvada, CO facility.

Summary:

Join Wanco Inc. as a Video Training & Learning Content Specialist and play a key role in building the knowledge infrastructure that supports our growing workforce and global customer base. This position combines instructional design, video production, and technical communication to translate complex product knowledge into clear, engaging training. You will develop video-based learning programs for employee onboarding and skills development, while also creating customer-facing support resources that help technicians confidently deploy, operate, and maintain Wanco’s industry-leading trailered and field-deployed equipment. If you are a creative, technically-minded content professional who thrives at the intersection of education and technology, this is a high-impact role where your work will be seen and used every day.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Training Development

  • Plan, script, record, and edit professional training videos for internal employees and external customers
  • Produce product tutorials and operational guides for Wanco equipment including variable message signs, arrow boards, radar speed trailers, light towers, and generators
  • Create step-by-step field support videos demonstrating product setup, deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance
  • Maintain a consistent visual style and training standard across all video content

Learning & Development

  • Design structured learning programs for employee onboarding, upskilling, and reskilling
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and service teams to translate complex technical knowledge into accessible training
  • Develop interactive e-learning modules and structured courses using industry-standard authoring tools
  • Maintain a central learning library of training materials accessible to all employees

Customer Education

  • Create customer-facing support videos and digital training resources for dealers, government agencies, and field operators
  • Develop concise “how-to” videos for technicians operating Wanco equipment in demanding field conditions
  • Build a searchable video and knowledge library enabling customer self-service and reducing inbound support requests

Content Production

  • Manage the full production workflow: scripting, filming, editing, review, and publishing
  • Produce screen-capture tutorials, narrated walkthroughs, and animated explainers
  • Maintain training documentation, version control, and visual brand standards across all deliverables
  • Track content engagement metrics and continuously improve training effectiveness

  • Strong storytelling, scripting, and communication skills with on-camera or narration experience
  • Experience with eLearning authoring tools and LMS platform administration
  • Comfortable collaborating with engineers, technicians, and product experts to extract and structure knowledge

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Background in technical products, manufacturing, equipment, or field-service industries
  • Experience designing structured, multi-module training programs and learning pathways
  • Familiarity with traffic safety, construction, public safety, or infrastructure industries
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design frameworks (ADDIE, SAM, etc.)

Physical Requirements:

Mobility to work in an office and factory setting including use of standard office equipment, such as, but not limited to a computer.

Comfortable working directly in a manufacturing facility and adhering to PPE requirements.

Reporting: This position reports to the Project Management Director without direct reports.

       Salary Range: $55,000-$75,000 Depending on Experience
