GENERAL NATURE OF JOB:
The Associate Product Specialist supports the Pricing & Product Information team by serving as a key resource for commercial, eCommerce, and pricing related activities. This role partners closely with the team's Product & Sr. Product Specialists (PLS) and Product Content Analysts (PCAs) as well as with Product Management, Customer Service & Support, Channel Management, and Marketing teams. The Associate Product Specialist will cross-train across all product lines to provide support as needed across all product groups for pricing deployment and maintenance, data review and clean-up, digital business support, and item setup.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • KNOWLEDGE DEVELOPMENT & TEAM SUPPORT
    • Develop working knowledge of product lines within assigned groups.
    • Provide support to Product Specialists and other team members as needed.
    • Demonstrate a collaborative mindset and willingness to learn across functions.
  • CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION
    • Coordinate with Product Specialists, Product Managers, Engineering, and other stakeholders to support issue resolution related to product and/or process initiatives.
    • Assist where needed with product development initiatives and exploration of new business opportunities.
  • PRICING SUPPORT
    • Assist in the execution of pricing policies and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
    • Support the management of special pricing agreements, including RSAs, corporate incentives, and end-user programs.
    • Help maintain dashboards and reporting tools related to pricing agreements and performance.
  • PROCESS & PROJECT SUPPORT
    • Contribute to process improvement initiatives related to pricing and product management.
    • Support review of customer-driven data initiatives, both eCommerce and general data related.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Extremely comfortable working with computers using a variety of Windows-based applications. Suitable knowledge of Excel and its functions to generate data analysis, data loading, and reporting.
  2. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication and listening skills.
  3. Experience with ERP systems preferred.
  4. Ability to perform multiple functions in a fast-paced working environment.
  5. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

These considerations can cause offered compensation to vary. The hiring range for this position istypically $61,000- $76,000annually.
