The Workforce Staffing Learning & Development team is seeking an innovative Learning Experience Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll design, develop, and enhance learning programs that impact associates worldwide in Amazon's hiring operations. As a self-motivated professional with a passion for learning and development, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, subject matter experts, and program managers to create impactful content and implement program offerings. The ideal candidate possesses expertise in adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies, with a strong foundation in data-driven decision making.

Key job responsibilities
• Analyze, design, develop, and evaluate training solutions aligned with business objectives
• Partner with stakeholders and SMEs to gather requirements and create learning content

A day in the life
As a Sr. Learning Experience Designer, you'll design learning programs impacting associates across our global hiring operations. Your day might start with project kick-offs, collaborating with stakeholders to define learning objectives. You could work with subject matter experts transforming complex information into engaging lesson plans. Afternoons might involve developing e-learning modules, creating multimedia content, or gathering feedback. You'll balance multiple projects-from concept to implementation-ensuring maximum impact for learners across 102 sites in 23 countries. Beyond design work, you might troubleshoot platform issues, present to leaders, or mentor team members.
About the team
The Workforce Staffing (WFS) Learning & Development (L&D) team designs and implements learning solutions across Amazon's high-volume hiring ecosystem, supporting Agents, Associates, Support Teams, Subject Matter Experts, and Managers in Operations facilities and Customer Service. Our 15 global L&D professionals create standardized, scalable training programs deployable globally while maintaining local flexibility. We enhance productivity, ensure quality standards, and optimize operational efficiency through data-driven approaches. Our 2026 strategy targets role readiness, cross-skilling, quality defect reduction, and facilitator certification.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience formulating and implementing training and performance improvement strategies
- Bachelor's degree
- Have a portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables (e.g., study plans, reports, personas)
- Experience designing and developing training materials in all modalities including ILT, e-learning and video
- Experience Using Articulate Storyline/Articulate Rise
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of learning and development or employee compliance training experience
- 2+ years of classroom facilitation experience
- 2+ years of stakeholder management experience
- 2+ years of project management experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
