The Sales Enablement Senior Manager plays a key role in the design, development, delivery of enablement content and readiness plans that meet the geo-specific needs of the Avaya Sales and Partner community. The role supports the growth and development of Avaya's sales culture with a strong focus on customer-centric selling. 

Working closely with the Sales Enablement Director, the role translates business priorities into impactful enablement programs that accelerate sales readiness and performance.

This role collaborates closely with Product Marketing, Product Management, Sales Leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to develop and deliver enablement programs that support key solutions, go-to-market initiatives, and sales motions.

The role also contributes to continuously improving the sales learning experience by introducing engaging delivery methods and modern learning formats that support knowledge retention and application in the field.

Description

Sales Enablement Senior Manager Primary Responsibilities:

  • Partner and engage with Sales leaders, sales representatives, and partners to surface knowledge and skill gaps and translate them into targeted enablement initiatives.

  • Develop and deliver enablement programs that support Avaya Sales and Partner teams across key priorities, solutions, and go-to-market initiatives.

  • Leverage AI-powered tools and technologies to enhance content development, improve learner engagement, and support scalable enablement experiences

  • Work with cross-functional teams including Product Marketing, Product Management and specialists to develop and execute training and learning assets that improve field readiness and support sales success.

  • Constantly seek to evolve and refine sales enablement content and programs based on field and partner's feedback, changing business needs, and emerging learning approaches. 

  • Lead and facilitate sales training and workshops that equip sales teams with the knowledge, messaging, and skills needed to succeed in customer engagements.

  • Design and deliver impactful learning experiences using a variety of formats including instructor-led sessions, interactive workshops, bite-sized learning modules, podcasts and microlearning to support continuous learning in the flow of work.

  • Capture insights and best practices from the field and translate them into practical enablement assets and learning moments for the broader sales and partner community.

  • Continuously enhance the sales learning experience through innovative delivery approaches that improve engagement and knowledge retention.

  • Define and track key metrics to measure enablement adoption, engagement, and impact on sales readiness and productivity.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (Business or Marketing majors preferred) and equivalent work history & experience


  • 8+ years of relevant experience in a technology or software company, with a strong understanding of sales environments.

  • Extensive experience working with Sales organizations in a customer-focused B2B environment, with the ability to adapt quickly and manage evolving priorities. 

  • Experience developing engaging sales content, delivering high-impact presentations, and creating practical learning experiences for sales teams.

  • Hands-on experience using AI-powered tools to enhance enablement and learning experiences 

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and reporting tools, including Power BI, to measure enablement impact and drive decision-making.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Creative mindset with the ability to simplify complex concepts into clear, engaging and actionable learning content.

  • Team player with demonstrated ability working in a cross-functional, matrix-oriented, multinational environment

  • Strong interpersonal, trust-building and cross- cultural skills to cope with highly diverse cultures on a global level.

The pay range for this opportunity is from $135,00 to $165,000 + performance-related bonus + benefits.  This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies.
