This job is HYBRID (will float to all South Locations)

FTE: 1.00

Shift: Shift 1

Job Summary:

Responsible for the day-to-day management and operations of the Froedtert Health (FH) Organizational Learning department. Responsible for the delivery of FH system education functions, programs, services, processes, tools and templates, including but not limited to: onboarding, competency, regulatory education, life support, transition to practice/Nurse Residency, professional development (ex. WNA Contact Hour Providership, certification resources, etc.), simulation, specialty education and Academic Partnerships. Evaluates and ensures Froedtert Health education/programming meets all staff, role-specific and/or specialty department learning needs across the enterprise using best available evidence. Ensures alignment, efficiency, and consistent education practice across the enterprise as appropriate. Responsible for management/supervisory duties for department and direct reports, including but not limited to organizing resources, fiscal management and aligning team operations and tactics to achieve staff, team, department and organizational goals. Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

Minimum of 5 years of recent healthcare education experience and 2-3 years progressively more responsible related work experience necessary to gain full knowledge of staff development and acquire supervisory skills necessary to lead and direct departmental personnel is required.

Experience in applying adult learning principles and instructional/curriculum design, required.
Experience in program or project management, required. Experience in simulation within the healthcare industry preferred.

Budget and contract/vendor/fiscal management experience preferred.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

Bachelors Degree in Nursing, required.

Masters Degree in Nursing (preferably Education focus), Adult Education, Organizational Development or related education field, required.

SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:

Proficient in Microsoft applications and computer skills, required.

Strong facilitation and interpersonal communication skills with leaders and staff, required.

Professional knowledge of nursing theory, practice, supervision, educational theories and principles required.

Analytical skills necessary to critically assess educational programs to increase effectiveness, required.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:

Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).

Nursing Professional Development (ANPD) certification within 3 years of hire is preferred.
