Job Summary

The Learning & Development Advisor supports the strategy, coordination, and delivery of enterprise learning with a strong focus on Leadership Development Programs, while managing learning platforms and fostering a seamless development experience for associates. This role partners with third-party facilitators, internal stakeholders, to coordinate learning logistics, role-based learning, and enterprise development offerings. The Advisor also designs and facilitates learning experiences, optimizes learning technology, and drives program effectiveness through measurement and continuous improvement.

Work Location

This position offers a hybrid work schedule. Candidates who are located within 50 miles of a West Bend office location will work a hybrid schedule for collaboration days, team meetings or other in-person events. The position can be based in West Bend, WI.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
    The Learning & Development Advisor is an individual contributor within the Talent Center of Excellence who leads the organization's learning technology ecosystem and digital delivery approach.
  • This role blends learning expertise with ownership of learning platforms.
  • The Advisor will plan, design and deliver internal learning programs that strengthen associate capability, enhance organizational performance, and support a culture of continuous learning including new associate onboarding, role base learning pathways, and enterprise programs while guiding how learning systems and emerging technologies are used across the organization.
  • This position ensures learning solutions are aligned to organizational needs, measurable, and scalable across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with third-party facilitators, internal stakeholders, to coordinate learning logistics, role-based learning, and development offerings.
  • Lead the evolution of the learning technology ecosystem (LMS, learning hub, content platforms, analytics tools) including roadmap development, governance standards and modernization through emerging technologies.
  • Lead configuration and optimization of the LMS and connected learning platforms, including curricula structure, automation workflows, reporting, integrations, and user experience design.
  • Design and implement a scalable, new associate onboarding experience and role-based learning pathways that integrate digital, live, and self-directed components.
  • Lead, execute and market the learning and development open registration curriculum ("All Access Learning"), ensuring development experiences align to business priorities and associate growth.
  • Identify and apply practical uses of AI and emerging tools to improve personalization, efficiency, and learning impact.
  • Leads structured intake and consultation to assess learning needs and outcomes to recommend scalable, technology-enabled solutions.

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • 6 years of relevant experience in Learning and Development with expertise in learning design, learning platforms, and digital delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or optimizing an LMS or digital learning platform.
  • Expert learning design capability, including experience designing onboarding or structured enterprise learning journeys.
  • Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Rise/Storyline, Camtasia, Synthesia, or similar).
  • Ability to leverage AI tools responsibly and effectively within content development and learning workflows.
  • Experience using data and evaluation strategies to measure impact and inform improvement.
  • Consulting, collaboration and communication skills in complex environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives with attention to quality and timelines.

Preferred Education and Training

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in HR, Adult Learning, Instructional Design or related field.
Salary Statement

The salary range for this position is $96,842.00 - $121,053.00 Yr.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. Compensation decisions are made by West Bend and are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
