Job description

The Fulfillment Center Learning Coordinator works with Operations Managers, Area Managers, Process Assistants to coordinate all associate onboarding and training activities for the site. This role constantly improves the long-term capabilities of the area to which the incumbent is assigned. This position has a high level of program administrative management. The Fulfillment Center Learning Coordinator is assigned to the Learning Department and will hold responsibilities specific to that area.
Key job responsibilities
- Coordinate ambassador identification program and track new hire onboarding and ambassador audits
- Coordinate site Associate Experience Week program and assigning Learn Before Doing plans for operations
- Track learning curve and continuous improvement metrics at the site level
- Audit Powered Industrial Equipment Training program and trainer standard work
- Execute training programs for both seasonal and permanent trainers
- Coordinate and facilitate any training related programs
- Manage ticketing system and ensure tickets are closed within expected timeline
- Develop and track effectiveness of training programs, including orientation. Monitor adherence to the established training programs to ensure standard work in the training programs
- Actively seek ongoing skill development (i.e., participating and conducting skill classes, cross-training, etc.)
- Document feedback results to help the learning department identify strengths as well as area of improvement
- Assess development needs for individuals and groups
- Fully understand workflow and daily production goals
- Ability to solve problems: react quickly and productively, serving as a resource for specific problems and undertaking the appropriate steps to resolve
- Balance and prioritize multiple tasks
- Maintain a positive attitude and presence on the floor
A day in the life
A Learning Coordinator begins the day checking in with Learning Trainers on their standard of work. They observe Learning Ambassadors on the floor to assess training delivery. They review the daily training schedule and respond to requests for training data. Throughout the day, they audit training entries to ensure completeness and follow up with trainers to confirm documentation. They attend building meetings with Area Managers, coordinate Area Manager onboarding, and check in on associate onboarding to ensure a smooth experience.
About the team
Rapid Asset Deployment (RAD) - RAD1 - is part of Global RAD Operations (GRO) delivering IT equipment accurately and on time through standardized operations - from receiving and warehousing to assembly, provisioning, and shipping. Guided by tenets of safety, speed, quality, and inclusion, the NA team supports Amazon businesses with the right equipment at the right place and time. GRO's Learning & Development function drives onboarding, process training, and safety programs across all sites, empowering associates and managers to grow within supply chain, operations, and IT career paths.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working with computers and Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Experience in one or more of the following fields: technical, security or privacy education/training, information security, risk management, corporate communications, program management, project management, psychology or other related field
- High school or equivalent
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with end-to-end project management, or experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience developing and delivering training programs, or experience in guiding, training and mentoring others
- Experience coaching and delivering messages related to performance to direct reports and support teams
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience in guiding, training and mentoring others
- Experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing operations environment

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
