Job description

Lead and oversee the product portfolio management team, driving the identification, development, and delivery of end-to-end technology solutions that align with business objectives and priorities. The Senior Manager is a people leader role, leading and overseeing portfolio management and business agility functions and leading people leaders and individual contributors. Responsible for driving the evolution of lean portfolio management, business agility, and product management practices across the organization to help realize enterprise vision and strategy. Partners closely with business, product, process, and technology leaders to improve strategic sequencing, lending portfolio transparency, prioritization, and delivery effectiveness across complex cross-functional initiatives. Mature lean portfolio management practices by strengthening portfolio governance, strategic decision enablement including trade-offs, and executive transparency. Facilitate the transformation to agile delivery models and enable cross-functional teams to integrate business capabilities. Serves as a strategic partner, fostering collaboration, organizational alignment, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. Act as a key liaison between business units and technology teams, ensuring alignment of product strategy and organizational goals.

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Experience leading lean portfolio transformation and/or business product operating model evolution in a large enterprise environment
  • Strong understanding of lean portfolio management, product management, business agility, and capability-based planning practices
  • Experience influencing organizational change across business and technology organizations

  • Proven ability to develop and implement product strategies, roadmaps, and performance metrics
  • Experience working directly with technical teams in an agile software development environment

  • Advanced analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills; ability to use data and metrics to drive decisions
  • Effective communicator, able to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences and influence outcomes
  • Experience in financial planning, resource management, and operational oversight
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in product and portfolio management
  • Experience with change management, process improvement, and adoption of modern IT practices
  • Significant experience supervising and leading professional employees
  • Ability to articulate leading business issues and trends, including associated technology implications
  • Experience in building consensus and delivering processes and frameworks that support alignment between stakeholders across an enterprise
