This role contributes significantly to leaders' development and supports the learning and development of all PitchBook employees. 

The Sr. Program Manager, Leadership Development is a strategic, enterprise-focused role responsible for building the capabilities PitchBook leaders need to succeed today and adapt for the future. This includes owning, designing, delivering, and measuring leadership development programs and experiences that build consistent, high-impact leadership capability across all levels of leadership, from frontline managers to senior leader of leaders. This role also partners across the L&D team and organization on PitchBook's manager AI enablement strategy by building manager capability to apply AI effectively and drive skill development across their teams. It equips managers with the skills, confidence, and frameworks needed to translate AI priorities into meaningful adoption and capability-building within their functions. 

This role partners closely with Learning & Development teammates, Talent Management, HR Business Partners, and business leaders to align leadership and capability-building priorities with PitchBook's strategy, workforce needs, and people priorities. The Sr. Program Manager applies their expertise in learning, leadership, and talent development to assess needs, propose and build solutions, and measure the effectiveness of L&D initiatives that help leaders grow, teams thrive, and the business perform. 

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Own, design, and deliver PitchBook's leadership development programs and resources across all leader levels from new managers to senior leader of leaders including program strategy, curriculum design, facilitation, measurement and ongoing evolution to meet the changing needs of the business 
  • Partner and collaborate on PitchBook's Manager AI Enablement strategy and execution, building managers' AI skills and confidence for their own roles while equipping them with the tools, frameworks, and programs to drive AI skill-building, adoption, and effective use across their direct reports and teams 
  • Design and manage a portfolio of leadership development experiences including workshops, cohort-based programs, assessments, team development, leader coaching engagements, and peer learning forums that build consistent, high-impact leadership capability across the organization 
  • Leverage leadership and behavioral assessment tools (e.g., DiSC, Hogan, 360 assessments) to deepen self-awareness, inform development planning, and support targeted growth for leaders at all levels 
  • Partner with Employee Development, Talent Management and HR Business Partners to align leadership development with performance, skill-building initiatives, succession and talent priorities, and to ensure managers are equipped to manage performance, coach and lead teams through ongoing change 
  • Partner with business leaders and departments to align capability building with team priorities and ensure learning investments translate into measurable productivity and impact 
  • Define and track success metrics across leadership development and Manager AI enablement initiatives, using data, feedback, and sentiment insights to continuously improve strategy and demonstrate impact 
  • Stay current on trends in leadership development, learning, AI enablement, and other relevant best practices 
  • Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors 
  • Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required 
  • 5+ years of professional experience managing programs in learning and leadership development, talent development, or other relevant program management experience 
  • Experience and certifications in leadership and behavioral assessment tools, including DiSC, Hogan assessments, 360 feedback instruments (CCL's Skillscope and LVI preferred), and coaching (e.g., ICF) preferred 
  • Proven experience building and owning innovative, complex and effective leadership development and L&D programs, tools, and resources across multiple leader levels 
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully design, develop, and manage complex, enterprise-scale programs from strategy through execution 
  • AI fluency (not technical expertise) that includes understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, and responsible use, with the curiosity and adaptability to stay current on emerging tools and translate that learning into practical, scalable, and role-relevant enablement for managers and their teams 
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities and complete work with a high level of quality and attention to detail 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills 
  • Creative thinker and self-starter with a proactive approach to resolving problems and issues 
  • Ability to analyze data and use insights to drive program proposals and continuous improvement 
  • Works well independently and as part of a team 
  • Eager to learn, grow, and build skills while working in a fast-paced environment 
  • Duties require periodically working outside normal working hours (evenings, early mornings) to support a global employee population 
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel, with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

Compensation

  • Annual base salary: $135,000-$150,000
  • Target annual bonus percentage: 10%
