Job Description
Position Summary:
US - Seattle only: This position is open to candidates in the Seattle area. You will have a hybrid remote/in-office schedule where you will work from our casual, pet-friendly office at least 3 days a week.
The Learning & Development Program Lead, Sales Experience collaborates with stakeholders across the business to analyze business needs and recommend, develop, design, and deliver impactful learning experiences. This senior role supports operations for the Learning & Development team, providing leadership, valuable feedback, and direction to ensure our members receive outstanding and consistent experiences.
The Program Lead supports day-to-day operations, monitors, tracks, and assists with the completion of program initiatives. The Program Lead is a key contributor in helping to drive growth, retention, conversion, product knowledge, partner, and member satisfaction (NPS).
Responsibilities:
Program Effectiveness, Maintenance, and Quality
  • Analyze team performance and deliverables to evaluate the effectiveness of training design and delivery to determine areas for improvement, additional training, and coaching.
  • Measure training progress and integrate assessments to ensure that leaders and team members can track their progression and program success.
  • Evaluate learning solutions through surveys, performance data, metrics, and reports.
  • Leverage insights from stakeholders and data to create, update, and deliver training to meet the evolving needs and requests of the business.
  • Partner with leaders and teams across the organization to ensure teams are working collaboratively and in sync towards shared goals.

Team and Project Support
  • Build and maintain effective relationships within the team and with stakeholders across the business.
  • Provide consistent support to our Learning & Development team by answering questions, collaborating, and using creative thinking to tackle challenges.
  • Supports leaders and team members to drive team growth, evolution, and change adoption.
  • Coach, mentor, and advise team members to support development in instructional design, project management, and facilitation.
  • Facilitate virtual and in-person experiences.
  • Take ownership of project outcomes by planning, coordinating, and driving projects to successful completion while meeting quality, timeline, and stakeholder expectations.

Training Content Development and Implementation
  • Stay current with Trupanion data, products, growth goals as well as strategic plans to optimally plan training.
  • Proactively partner with leaders to identify, prioritize, and address learning needs, while effectively managing training resources.
  • Lead, scope, and develop engaging training using effective learning techniques that will enable the team to meet business needs and goals.
  • Develop results-driven, user and learner-centric materials, playbooks, facilitator guides, videos, and interactive eLearning.
  • Tailor communications and experiences to meet the needs of various Trupanion audiences.

Skills
  • Comfortable using technology such as Microsoft 365 products, Trupanion Applications, Tableau, Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Suite, Learning Management Systems, and SaaS (Software as a Service).
  • Learning & Development knowledge, including but not limited to instructional design, assessments, instructor-led training, eLearning, workshops, evaluation, and needs analysis.
  • Experience in a learner-centric environment, particularly with team members from a wide variety of cultures.
  • Resourceful, self-motivated, and able to think creatively beyond the limits of convention or existing solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience as a member of a team and a team leader.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years experience designing, developing, and delivering in-person and online training courses, engagement tools, and workplace learning for a variety of audiences and skill level.
  • 3+ years' experience leading others.

Additional Information
  • The base salary range for this position is $82,500 - $92,500 on a full-time schedule.
  • Along with base compensation, Trupanion employees are currently eligible for monthly bonuses.
  • We want all employees to be invested in Trupanion's success, so we grant Restricted Stock Units to all new team members. Our new hire grants vest over 4 years.
