Role Summary

We are seeking a self-driven, versatile, and collaborative Technical Business Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who can operate effectively across a diverse technology landscape that includes AWS-based solutions, vendor platforms, hybrid environments, and home-grown applications. The ideal candidate will be comfortable bridging the gap between business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams, helping translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements that support sound decision-making and successful delivery.

The Technical Business Analyst will play a key role in requirements gathering, solution analysis, process improvement, and validation, while also contributing to strategic initiatives involving test automation and AI-enabled capabilities. This individual should possess strong analytical and communication skills, along with hands-on technical knowledge in areas such as databases, APIs, data querying, and data validation.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business users, product owners, developers, QA/SDETs, and other stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
  • Translate complex business needs into clear functional and technical requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support business decision-making by articulating impacts, dependencies, trade-offs, and solution considerations across multiple platforms and systems.
  • Work across a diverse technology ecosystem, including cloud-based, vendor-supported, hybrid, and internally developed platforms.
  • Analyze data flows, integrations, and system interactions to ensure requirements are complete, accurate, and feasible.
  • Collaborate with technical teams on API requirements, database analysis, data mapping, and validation logic.
  • Use querying and analytical skills to investigate issues, validate data, and support testing and implementation efforts.
  • Partner with SDETs, developers, and product owners to identify requirements needed to establish and enhance test automation frameworks.
  • Contribute to initiatives involving AI and intelligent automation, helping define business use cases, requirements, controls, and expected outcomes.
  • Support end-to-end delivery by participating in testing, defect triage, UAT support, and post-implementation validation.
  • Drive continuous improvement in business analysis practices, documentation standards, and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications
Required:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role in a complex technology environment.
  • Strong experience in requirements elicitation, documentation, analysis, and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to work effectively with both business and technical audiences, simplifying complex concepts and facilitating alignment.
  • Solid understanding of databases, SQL/querying, data analysis, and data validation.
  • Experience working with APIs, system integrations, and data mapping.
  • Familiarity with modern application environments spanning cloud platforms, vendor systems, hybrid architectures, and custom-built solutions.
  • Experience supporting or contributing to automation testing initiatives, including gathering requirements for automation frameworks, and working closely with SDET teams.
  • Exposure to or experience with AI, machine learning, or intelligent automation initiatives is strongly preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess business needs and recommend practical, scalable solutions.
  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies, including writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and participating in sprint ceremonies.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Experience in environments with complex enterprise systems and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Knowledge of test automation tools (Playwright), frameworks, and quality engineering practices.

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individualas relevant experience and skills for the role.A Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package.A Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
