We are seeking a Lead Designer to become Böhme's first internal design hire, owning
the creative vision and product direction end-to-end. This role will partner closely with
the founders and collaborate with overseas manufacturing partners (primarily in China)

Overseas Vendor Collaboration (China)
Partner directly with overseas factories and development teams to execute
product
Provide clear direction on design intent, materials, construction, and fit
Review samples, iterate on revisions, and ensure final product meets brand

Product Development & Execution
Oversee the design process from concept through final approval
Collaborate with production and merchandising on timelines and delivery
Ensure alignment between design, costing, and margin targets

Help define how design integrates with merchandising, production, and sourcing
Over time, build and mentor a small internal design team as the business grows
Qualifications

Background in contemporary, DTC, or retail-driven brands with strong product

Ideal Profile
