As the Director of LCCA Planning & Acceleration, you will be a key catalyst in this transformation, serving as a trusted advisor to our leadership team and an architect for our strategic future. Reporting to the Senior Vice President & Deputy General Counsel who is responsible for LCCA's transformation, this is your opportunity to drive high-impact initiatives, mentor the next generation of LCCA talent, and shape the operating rhythm of a dynamic, global powerhouse.

About the Role

Responsibilities:

Delivering High-Impact Results:

  • Work in partnership with Chief Legal Officer (CLO) and LCCA Leadership Team to define, articulate, refine LCCA's core strategic objectives and top focus areas.

  • Develop an annual strategy that reflects LCCA's alignment with the company's key goals and objectives and highlights areas of shared accountability.

  • Drive and execute the LCCA annual strategy and related OKRs across the leadership team and LCCA organization.

  • Support the execution of LCCA's most important priorities by helping to operationalize processes and procedures to better support our execution, defining what success looks like overall and at various key achievements.

  • Driving a check-in process to supervise progress and discuss course corrections as needed, working directly with leaders to assist and support their teams' execution.

  • Help to evangelize and showcase the impact and contributions that LCCA delivers to Workday and to our customers, partners, and key collaborators.

Driving Operational Excellence & Rhythm:

  • A key responsibility will be to evaluate, refine, reorganize, and optimize the LCCA "rhythm of the business," including our staff meetings, stand-ups, leadership off-sites, Town Halls, etc.

  • Bring new energy and ideas to our operating rhythm and to drive continuous improvement in how LCCA's leadership and LCCA as a whole coordinate, collaborate, get work done, and have fun while doing it.

  • Execute at speed on Leadership Team actions items and drive clarity and accountability to ensure we continuously move forward and achieve our goals.

Fostering Cross-Company Engagement and Alignment:

  • Cultivate close relationships with and gain the trust of key senior partners across Workday in order to align business objectives and ensure we are working effectively together.

  • Serve as an LCCA point of contact and liaison for critical Corporate Functions including People & Purpose, Talent Acquisition, and Finance.

Maximizing Efficiency & Vendor Partnerships:

  • Liaise with Finance partners and LCCA Leadership team to forecast LCCA spend accurately.

  • Support Leadership Team members on budget management.

  • Efficiently manage any overages or underages to ultimately deliver budget performance within plus or minus 1 % of budget target quarterly

  • Assess vendor and law firm management processes and generate news ideas to streamline processes and consolidate to drive greater value and efficiency.

  • Manage the LCCA ebilling and matter management vendor tool to ensure visibility and reporting on spend and key matters.

Nurturing a Culture of Collaboration & Development:

  • Liaise with the LCCA People & Purpose Lead to ensure we are maintaining a strong and healthy connected LCCA culture.

  • Regularly assess team feedback, take stock of the state of the LCCA culture and proactively drive discussion and actions to continue to strengthen that culture. Build and implement a plan to take the team to the next level and be proactively inclusive as we expand our team globally.

  • Assess the LCCA Development & Skills program and innovate to make it even more impactful for team members growth and development.

  • Increase opportunities for experiences and exposure for LCCA Workmates to grow their careers as professionals.

  • Drive investment in developing programs that enhance the LCCA team skills through education, particularly how to use AI to elevate the work they do and to hone the non AI skills that will be most valuable, in the AI era.

Leading an Impactful Team:

  • Manage a small team of highly qualified and capable finance and program management professionals who are delivering high impact results on identified strategic programs and who have unbounded potential to contribute to key department initiatives.

About You

Required Qualifications:

  • 15 years of experience in business operations, consulting, or program management, consistently delivering excellence.

  • 5+ years navigating the enterprise SaaS landscape, serving as a catalyst for change and a champion of team culture.

  • BA, BS, or equivalent.

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
