Job description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a results-driven recruitment leader to build a predictable, high-velocity recruiting engine that functions as a strategic advantage. You will lead a team of recruiters to hyper-scale our workforce, moving from reactive hiring to proactive talent mapping across LATAM.

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of hyper-scale agency recruiting expertise, a proven record in rapidly expanding technical teams, and strong operational leadership. You will be responsible for standardizing recruiting processes, driving accountability through metrics, and leading a distributed team to meet aggressive hiring targets across Costa Rica, Peru, and Colombia.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a dispersed team of recruiters across LATAM, fostering a high-performance, metrics-driven culture.
  • Conduct daily syncs with the LATAM recruitment team to ensure alignment, maintain visibility, and rapidly resolve challenges.

Process Standardization & Optimization

  • Analyze and standardize all LATAM recruitment processes, ensuring alignment with global policies while increasing recruitment velocity.
  • Document, optimize, and communicate process improvements to drive consistency and scalability.

Operational Excellence & Metrics Accountability

  • Establish and monitor key recruitment KPIs (time-to-hire, hiring lifecycle, pipeline health, recruiter targets, offer acceptance rates) to ensure a proactive, data-driven hiring operation.
  • Deliver a weekly LATAM Recruitment Pipeline Report to leadership, highlighting forecasts, risks, and performance against targets.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Corporate HQ and LATAM teams, ensuring policy adherence and operational consistency.
  • Drive full adoption of Greenhouse as the single source of truth for all recruitment data and reporting.

Hyper-Scale Hiring & Execution

  • Leverage prior experience-specifically in scaling technical teams from 400-500+ hires within 12 months-to design and execute a repeatable, high-velocity hiring playbook for LATAM.
  • Implement recruitment strategies that balance speed with quality, drawing on best practices from both agency and in-house tech recruiting environments.

Performance Incentives & Issue Resolution

  • Develop and manage an incentive structure for recruiters to drive performance and align with organizational hiring goals.
  • Proactively identify and resolve critical recruitment and operational issues, escalating to leadership when necessary.
  • Continuously eliminate process bottlenecks through collaboration with LATAM and US leadership.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of recruitment experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role overseeing hyper-scale technical hiring.
  • Proven Scale: Demonstrated success in a hyper-scale environment, growing a tech team from 400 to 500+ hires in under 12 months, preferably within a fast-growth tech company or a hyper-scale staffing agency.
  • Metric-Driven Approach: Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive hiring decisions, track recruiter performance, and forecast pipeline outcomes.
  • Agency + In-House Blend: Prior experience in a staffing agency environment combined with in-house recruitment leadership; able to operate with both urgency and long-term strategic focus.
  • Expertise with Greenhouse or similar ATS, and advanced proficiency in recruitment analytics and reporting.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across global teams.
