Position Overview

As a Landscape Crew Leader, you'll lead our team to deliver top-tier service to our commercial clients. This position includes year-round outdoor work with seasonal responsibilities in commercial landscape maintenance and winter snow and ice management.ย 

This role is ideal for experienced landscape professionals who enjoy leading a team, taking ownership of work, and producing high-quality results.ย 


What You'll Do:
  • Lead and oversee daily landscape maintenance operations on large commercial propertiesย 
  • Monitor equipment condition and perform general maintenance
  • Train, mentor, and support crew members to ensure performance and safety standards are met
  • Track job time, labor hours, and materials accurately
  • Safely operate mowing large commercial properties, roadways, and open spacesย 
  • Enhance curb appeal and maintain high-quality landscapes
  • Lead renovations, enhancements, and installation projects
  • Support critical 24/7 snow and ice management operations during winter events
  • Perform work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, snow, wind, and rainย 
  • Represent Brilar professionally in appearance and conduct at all times

Requirements

What We're Looking For:
  • Valid driver's license
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial landscaping and snow removal
  • Minimum 3 years of experience supervising or leading a crew
  • Ability to take ownership of job quality and ensure work is completed correctly
  • Comfortable working in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, snow, wind, and rain
  • Snow removal experience preferred (heavy equipment operation or sidewalk crew experience a plus)
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physical work (walking, bending, standing for extended periods)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and positive leadership mindset
Winter Availability Requirements:
  • Available to be on-call 24/7 during the winter season, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work extended hours during snow events
  • Commitment to completing assigned routes and shifts when called
