Summary
We are seeking an Associate Project Manager to join our Civil Engineering team at Atwell. In this role, you will lead land development projects, support client relationships, and contribute to team development, enhancing both technical expertise and project management skills in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Project Managers to develop and execute project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams to deliver quality land development projects.
  • Monitor project performance to identify challenges and drive solutions.
  • Maintain organized project documentation and deliverables.
  • Assist with contract administration and project reporting.
  • Apply civil engineering principles across varied land development projects.
  • Support the preparation and review of engineering plans and technical documents.
  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for site design and infrastructure improvements.
  • Prepare hydrology and drainage reports and coordinate permitting requirements.
  • Ensure all work aligns with Atwell's quality standards.
  • Represent Atwell in meetings with clients and regulatory agencies.
  • Support business development initiatives and maintain client relationships.
  • Mentor junior staff and support team growth and professional development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field required.
  • 4–8 years of experience in civil engineering or land development consulting.
  • Experience managing project schedules and client expectations.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D required.
  • Experience preparing hydrology and stormwater management reports preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain in the near future.
  • Experience mentoring or coordinating junior staff is a plus.
Pay Range
$93,000—$130,000 USD
