Job description

Overview
The laboratory assistant will work under the direct supervision of Wen Luo, PhD. Assistant Professor of Pediatrics. The laboratory assistant will play a key role in conducting experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to the cutting-edge scientific research in the field of tumor immunology, targeted cancer immunotherapy, tumor microenvironment and stem cell biology.
Responsibilities
. Perform various laboratory techniques including electroporation, flow cytometry, cytotoxicity, drug treatment, tissue culture and animal models.
. Conduct primary cell isolation and maintain cell lines.
. Assist in the design and execution of experiments under the guidance of senior researchers.

. Prepare reports, presentations, and manuscripts for publication.
Qualifications
Education requirement: Preferred PhD/MS or minimum BS/BA degree in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology or relevant field.
Technical/computer skills: Preferred proficiency in data analysis using softwares such as Flowjo, Word, Powerpoint, and Excel
Prior experience: Preferred strong knowledge and experience in cellular and molecular immunology and flow cytometry, hands-on mouse work including breeding, imaging and xenograft
Other skills/requirements: Familiarity with cellular biology and immunology principles and techniques
Physical demands: Physically capable of working full time.
Environmental demands: Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Maximum Salary
USD $65,000.00/Yr.
Minimum Salary
USD $52,000.00/Yr.
