Retail Warehouse/Housekeeping Associate

Baer?s Furniture, Florida?s premier furniture and mattress retailer, is searching for a Warehouse Associate to join our team. At Baer's, our Warehouse Associates help to ensure an optimal customer experience. Warehouse Associates maintain a clean and safe environment both in the warehouse as well as on the sales floor; interact with customers in a professional manner; and contribute in all warehouse operations and activities.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure a clean a save environment both in the warehouse and the sales floor;
    • Clean showroom, office and restrooms to ensure a pleasant and sanitary environment for customers;
    • Ensuring furniture, fixtures, and accessories are clean and neat according to standards;
    • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship);
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store);
  • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits;
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization;
  • Complete diary logs into inventory, reporting discrepancies;
  • Operate and preventively maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment;
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Previous warehouse experience;
  • Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems;
  • Familiarity with warehousing practices and methods;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds;
  • High school degree or equivalent.
