Job description

Department
The John & Mable Ringling Museum of Art is located in Sarasota, Florida, and is a department of Florida State University.
Responsibilities
Our Advanced Sales Associates are among the first to interact with museum visitors over the phone and play an important role in providing an excellent customer service experience.
Associates will be performing a variety of tasks, including:
  • Process phone sales for Ringling Museum admissions, tours, and events.
  • Processing credit and debit card payments remotely following PCI protocols.
  • Processing membership payments, payments/donations received in the mail, and other invoices as necessary.
  • Review incoming Advance Sales email account, answering questions and addressing ticketing issues.
  • Answer the Switchboard, addressing all general questions, and transferring all other calls to the appropriate staff/department.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous Tessitura experience or the ability to learn/use a web-based computer ticketing system
  • Verbal fluency in additional language(s) besides English
  • Experience with:
    • Operating a switchboard/phone sales
    • Point of sale
    • Microsoft Office suite.

Anticipated Salary Range
$15.45 (24 hours a week)
