Job description

Prime Industrial Fasteners, a South Florida based full-line distributor and exporter of fasteners and industrial supplies is seeking a Warehouse Associate to provide support to warehousing operations with specific responsibilities of receiving and stocking incoming merchandise, picking, packing, and shipping customer orders.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Receive and process merchandise from vendor deliveries (pick, unload, verify, label, stock)
  • Pick merchandise for order
  • Prepare orders for delivery or pickup (load, pack/box, wrap, label, ship)
  • Operate Forklift / Order Picker / Pallet Jack
  • Use Handheld RFID Scanner
  • Maintain safe, clean and organized work environment
  • Perform all functions within the scope of the warehouse

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of warehouse experience
  • Experience in operating forklifts
  • Physical demands: ability to lift and/or pull up to 50 pounds of weight regularly
  • Basic math and recording abilities
  • Proficient in English and Spanish
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Product knowledge of fasteners and industrial supplies within the industry preferred
