What is the job? As a To-Go Specialist, you play a critical role in delivering an exceptional ramen experience for all pickup and third-party orders. You are the final quality check point between the kitchen and the guest, ensuring every order is accurate, organized, and packed to Tatsu-Ya standards.


What You’ll Do:

  • Greet pickup guests promptly, verify order details, and provide a friendly, efficient handoff
  • Ensure all to-go items—including ramen, sides, bombs, garnishes, utensils, and drinks—are packed correctly and completely
  • Perform final quality checks on every order, including broth levels, packaging integrity, labeling, and presentation
  • Coordinate closely with BOH and FOH teams to manage ticket flow, rush orders, and accurate wait times
  • Maintain an organized and clearly labeled to-go staging area and pickup shelf
  • Monitor and restock to-go supplies such as bowls, bags, stickers, utensils, ramekins, and labels
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including tablet setup, station organization, and cleaning
  • Maintain cleanliness and follow all food safety, sanitation, and allergen protocols
  • Work with urgency and purpose to support high-volume service while maintaining accuracy and hospitality

Requirements:

  • Must be 18+ years old
  • Valid Food Handlers certification (TABC only if required by location)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift 25–50 lbs
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods and move efficiently throughout the restaurant
