Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable Print Operator to operate commercial printing and converting equipment during the third shift. This position is responsible for setting up equipment, completing print orders, monitoring product quality, meeting production deadlines, and maintaining accurate production records.

The ideal candidate has experience operating offset, flexographic, digital, or similar commercial printing equipment and can work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate offset sheet-fed, offset web-fed, flexographic, or digital printing presses
  • Review work orders and follow job-specific instructions
  • Set up, adjust, operate, and clean printing equipment
  • Prepare plates and materials for assigned production jobs
  • Print, collate, and prepare completed pages or products
  • Monitor print quality throughout the production process
  • Identify and correct basic printing or equipment issues
  • Complete routine equipment servicing and minor repairs when qualified
  • Ensure production jobs are completed accurately and on time
  • Maintain sufficient supplies of paper, ink, and other production materials
  • Record production output, waste, downtime, and related job information
  • Perform inline finishing and converting processes, including:
    • Coating
    • Scoring
    • Perforating
    • Gluing
    • Folding
    • Cutting
    • Perfecting or two-sided printing
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all established safety, quality, and production procedures


Qualifications

  • Previous commercial printing or print-production experience preferred
