Printing Operator - Graphic Design 

Shifts/Hours: Monday - Friday (weekends as needed), 8AM to 5PM

Pay Rate: $16-18/hr DOE

Location: Alvin, Tx

Experience: 6+ months recent experience

We are excited to share a new opportunity! PrideStaff, a nationally recognized staffing company, is looking for production operators in Alvin to assist a top-tier printing customer. The ideal candidate has worked in a manufacturing environment to produce products according to job order and specifications under tight deadlines.

Printing Operator Job duties 

  • Read and Understand Job Sheets as they are scheduled
  • Configure Printing Machinery to produce materials according to specifications
  • Perform Quality Inspection on produced materials for color, clarity
  • Preform regular inspections of machinery to identify any malfunctions or defects, promptly reporting them to supervisors.
  • Use pallet jacks and forklifts to maneuver blank and printed materials around warehouse
  • Track inventory including filling out requisitions 
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure product quality and consistency
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines
  • Assist in the setup and changeover of production lines as needed
  • Apply digitally printed graphics onto media such as aluminum and styrene.
  • Apply cut vinyl onto media such as aluminum and styrene.
  • Produce banners by trimming, folding, and taping the hems. 
  • Utilize a hydraulic hole puncher to crimp grommets around the edges

Printing Operator Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Attention to Detail
  • Experience working in manufacturing settings under tight deadlines
  • Proficiency with hand and measurement tools
  • Prior printing experience is a plus
  • Prior forklift training is a plus 
  • Willingness to learn and grow capabilities
  • Lift up to 50lbs
