Lab Systems Analyst - IS Position Details:
  • Location: BayCare System Office, Clearwater, FL
  • Hybrid - Must reside in the state of Florida
  • Status: Full Time, Exempt: Yes
  • Shift Hours: Varies
  • Weekend Work: Occasional
  • On Call: Yes

Systems Analyst - IS Key Responsibilities:
  • Under minimal supervision, provides customer support for Information Technology related issues in designated areas of the health system
  • Technical responsibilities include maintaining a working knowledge of customer's daily operations to ensure superior technical support, identifying process improvements based on customer's needs and troubleshooting and providing client support for systems and applications
  • May participate in Project Management from inception to completion and performs other duties as assigned
  • Competent to work in most phases of systems analysis but may require guidance in others
  • An understanding of relevant technology, tools, and methods is required
  • A sound knowledge of at least one core technical area or business process is required.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 6 years of Systems Analysis, Design and/or Support OR
  • 2 years Specific Systems experience with demonstrated competency in department as an Associate Systems Analyst OR
  • 2 years of experience required with a Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science field

Preferred Skills:
  • Cerner PathNet in general lab
  • Computer skills appropriate to the position

Education:
  • Bachelors - Information Services Related; OR
  • High School or Equivalent
