Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Maintain and clean electroplating equipment
- Perform equipment troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Maintain and clean chemical storage areas and lab equipment
- Perform pH checks, metal concentration tests, and Hull cell analysis
- Make chemical adjustments based on testing results
- Prepare lab solutions and perform volumetric titrations
- Uphold Positronic’s standards of integrity, quality, and operational excellence.
- Identify hazards in the workplace and report them to management and/or the safety coordinator.
- Collaborate with the EHS department to meet local, state, and federal regulatory requirements, including OSHA, NFPA, DNR, EPA, and Amphenol sustainability practices.
- Work with the Quality department to ensure compliance with AS9100 certification standards.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
RequirementsEducation and Experience- 1-year certificate in Chemistry or related field OR
- 3 to 6 months experience as a lab technician OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must pass appropriate testing to advance in the ABC program.
Physical- Frequent standing and walking; occasional sitting
- Frequent bending, gripping, and use of lab tools
- Regular use of handheld measuring devices
- Lifts 0–30 lbs. frequently; occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- PPE includes safety glasses, gloves, and apron
Shift: First Shift (Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm)
Working ConditionsWork is performed in a climate controlled, well-ventilated lab environment with routine handling of lab chemicals (e.g., nitric/sulfuric acid, copper, gold). Involves handling of hazardous waste in compliance with federal regulations.

- Proficient in titrations, pH balance, and spectrometry readings.
