Job Description

Job Title: Lab Tech

Location: Springfield MO
Duration: 6+ months (Possibility of extension)

ROLES

Attention to detail is a must

Ability to follow directions carefully

Ability to work quickly and accurately

Ability to multitask

Ability to sit or stand for an extended period of time

Ability to work M-F, 8:00am-4:30pm shifts with flexibility to work 1:30pm-10pm shifts based
on production needs

Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed

Ability to work in both team and solitary environments

Proficient in Excel, Word, and general computer use

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, problem solving, and decision making

Previous experience in a lab environment is preferred although not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sorting, pouring, and testing routine analytical properties of food products during shift
Testing of non-routine analytical properties of food products such as: HPLC, GC, Color Power

Communicate out of specification issues to management

Returning extra samples to rework shelves during shifts

Washing dishes and restocking supplies during shift

Collecting and testing water samples

Calibration of processing department titrators

Serve as a backup for the Micro Lab Tech

As needed by the business, this person may be responsible for being the primary individual
utilized to create COAs finished goods at the request of both Domestic and International
Customers
