Job description

Join JM Test Systems as an ESL Lab Administrator and play akey role in supporting the daily operations of our Electrical Safety Lab. Thisposition is ideal for a highly organized and customer-focused professional whothrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys coordinating administrativeprocesses that directly support technicians, customers, and operationalsuccess. You'll help ensure smooth workflow throughout the equipment lifecyclewhile supporting documentation, customer communication, pricing, and overalllaboratory efficiency.
What You'll Do
  • Support daily administrative operations within the ESL laboratory environment
  • Coordinate workflow and equipment movement throughout the calibration and service process
  • Process and maintain accurate work orders, purchase orders, pricing information, and customer documentation
  • Assist with pricing and estimates, contractor support, rotations management, tool room administration, and general lab operations
  • Communicate with customers regarding equipment status, pricing, repairs, delays, and order updates
  • Review calibration certificates, inspection reports, and work order documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, QA requirements, and ISO 17025 quality standards
  • Maintain organized records, files, and administrative documentation
  • Provide administrative support to technicians, leadership, vendors, and customers
  • Identify workflow or documentation issues and assist with coordinating resolutions
  • Provide cross-functional backup support across ESL administrative functions as needed
  • Assist with staging, organizing, housekeeping, and operational preparation activities

What We're Looking For
  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional administrative or business training preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience in administrative support, customer service, operations support, or a related role preferred
  • Experience working in a fast-paced operational, industrial, or technical environment is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn company systems and operational processes
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively across teams
