Summary
 
The Site Specialist / Lab Inventory Coordinator is responsible for supporting customer service and inventory management activities for assigned customer locations. This role includes maintaining inventory levels, order processing, stock replenishment, and supporting regional sales operations while ensuring excellent customer service.
 
Responsibilities 
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Place orders for replenishment stock based on inventory levels and restocking plans.
  • Receive, unpack, inspect, and restock incoming inventory.
  • Address inventory discrepancies and coordinate resolutions with sales representatives or customer contacts.
  • Provide sales support including order entry, order expediting, backorder processing, quote generation, and return goods authorization.
  • Support customer service activities and resolve customer inquiries.
  • Maintain professional interaction with customers and internal teams.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of inventory management and customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Working knowledge of ERP or mainframe systems preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize workload effectively.
  • Ability to work onsite in customer stockroom environments for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
  • Willingness to travel to assigned customer locations as needed.
