ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Preference for 36 hours per week; options include 4x10 or 3x12 hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM; 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM), with availability for weekends, holidays, on-call, and charge per unit needs.

Job Description

The Cath Lab is responsible for both inpatient and outpatient procedural labs, focusing on mechanical and electrical diagnosis and intervention for cardiac patients. The facility houses 4 Cath labs and 3 EP labs, providing care for a diverse range of adult and pediatric patients. With a robust practice model supported by an extensive RN staff and CVT collaboration, the Cath Lab is committed to delivering excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre and post-procedural care in a comprehensive holding area.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure quality care for patients undergoing cardiac interventions.
  • Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients during procedures.
  • Provide telemetry and dysrhythmia monitoring for cardiac patients.
  • Utilize advanced equipment and support devices, including ECMO, Impella, and LVADs.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
  • Moderate sedation training
  • Dysrhythmia and telemetry experience
  • New York Registered Nurse License
  • Experience with TAVR, Microclip, Watchmen, Right and Left Heart Hemodynamics, Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis, Vascular Interventions, RotoPro, and FlowTriever
  • Mechanical circulatory support experience, including ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, and LVAD
  • Familiarity with Structural Heart procedures
