The skills and qualifications required for the Material Handler III are outlined below:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience operating MHE and working in a warehouse environment preferred.
  • Proficiency in using all types of warehouse equipment and RF scanning systems.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Reliable and consistent in maintaining high-quality performance standards.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong error detection and correction abilities.
  • Committed to following all established procedures, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to report issues and escalate concerns timely.
  • Works collaboratively in a team environment and actively supports continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Applies root-cause thinking to resolve issues and improve operational processes.
  • Embraces a growth mindset with a focus on increasing personal and organizational efficiency and quality.
  • Comfortable working at heights (up to 40 ft) and in cold or freezer environments.
  • Able to frequently lift 35-50 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
  • Able to stand for extended periods and meet the physical demands of the role.
  • Willingness to work overtime, including weekends, as needed to support business operations.
  • Capable of working independently while consistently meeting safety, quality, and productivity expectations.
