Job description

Kronos Consulting is seeking experienced aerospace manufacturing professionals to support a leading aerospace client in Torrance, CA. These roles support high-complexity aircraft components within a regulated manufacturing environment focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. We are hiring for three distinct positions within Manufacturing Engineering and CNC Programming.


Pay Rate: $40โ€“$50/hr (depending on experience)
Work Location: 100% Onsite โ€“ Aerospace Manufacturing Facility (Torrance, CA)


Manufacturing/NC Programmer (CNC Programmer)

Overview

The NC Programmer develops and optimizes CNC programs for complex aerospace machining operations using CAD/CAM tools.

Must-Have Skills

  • 5-axis CNC programming experience (milling and turning)
  • Experience using NX or equivalent CAD/CAM software
  • Strong knowledge of tooling selection, feeds & speeds, and machining optimization
  • Experience supporting aerospace machining environments
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T


Key Responsibilities

  • Create and optimize CNC/NC programs for 3, 4, and 5-axis machines
  • Use CAD/CAM tools to generate machining paths and programs
  • Support machining of aerospace materials (titanium, Inconel, aluminum, etc.)
  • Validate programs through simulation and shop floor prove-outs
  • Work with machinists and engineers to resolve machining issues
  • Support First Article and production validation activities
  • Maintain programming documentation and revision control
  • Improve machining efficiency, quality, and cycle time
