Job description

Kitchen Utility Worker
The City of Collinsville is accepting applications for part-time Kitchen Utility Workers to work at Gateway Convention Center!
We are looking for committed individuals who can provide excellent customer service while preparing, and serving food items and beverages to patrons of the City of Collinsville's Gateway Convention Center. Kitchen Utility Workers will also assist with cleaning, inventory rotating and stocking, Catering and Concession event set up and tear down, as well as performing daily kitchen opening and closing duties.
You must be able to work staggered shifts, to include evenings, weekends, and holidays, BUT we can be flexible with scheduling!
You must be at least 16 years of age or older at the time of hire.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 16 years of age or older
  • Certified as a ServSafe Food Handler or can gain certification within a reasonable time from start date

We prefer individuals that are:
  • Familiar with customer service
  • Familiar with working in an industrial kitchen
  • Able to work in hot, cold, wet and/or other unpleasant outdoor conditions
  • Able to work in a loud, fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual in Spanish

Pay Rate
This position has an hourly rate of $15.00 per hour.
